Membership card and certificate

Your card is the physical proof of your membership. It is valid for 3 years and is renewed online. This guide also covers the membership certificate, a separate document you can request at any time.

To prepare an identity photograph in the 35 × 45 mm format and your signature.

Renewing your membership card

Renewal is reserved for members. You may only have one request in progress.

1. Summary — a reminder of your situation and your current card.
2. Civil status check — you review your personal details.
3. Category and capacities — you confirm your category and the capacities carried by the card; you may add more.
4. Photograph and signature — you upload the 35 × 45 mm identity photograph and your signature.

Warning civil status fields that are already filled in are locked: they cannot be corrected in this form. To change them, file a profile change request from your personal area, then come back to the renewal.

What renewal costs

At the rates currently in force, which may change:

• the card fee: 20,000 XOF by default;
• the price of each capacity added — capacities you already held are not charged again;
• the applicable FNE levy.

Warning payment only comes after your request has been approved. Nothing is asked of you while you fill in the form.

Getting your card

• The card is downloadable as a PDF only once the request is approved AND paid. While either condition is missing, the download stays closed.
• The physical card is collected from BURIDA's departments, who will tell you how.

Requesting a membership certificate

The certificate is a short document attesting your membership for a specific purpose (a bank, an administration, a partner…). It is reserved for members.

The form has only two fields:

1. the subject of the certificate;
2. a description of your need.

The rate currently in force is 20,000 XOF, without FNE, and it may change.

Good to know the certificate PDF is only available after approval of the request. The document carries a QR code: anyone scanning it can check online that it is genuine, without having to call you back.
